The ACLI Circle of Desenzano del Garda has launched a new series of meetings titled “Dialogue with the Universe,” aimed at exploring scientific issues related to the universe and their impact on everyday life and technology. This initiative, sponsored by the City of Desenzano, seeks to engage the local community, particularly young people and high schools, to promote scientific culture and STEM subjects.
The first meeting will take place on October 29 at 8:45 PM at Palazzo Todeschini, featuring Professor Germano Bonomi, an expert in experimental physics, as the speaker. The topic of the meeting will be “The Universe and Its Mysteries,” with a focus on antimatter. Two additional meetings are already scheduled for January 2025, which will delve into cosmic rays and the possibility of intelligent life in the universe, respectively.
