The Guardia di Finanza of Trento has recently carried out a significant seizure, recovering over 800 kg of explosive materials that were being held illegally in a warehouse of a store in the city. The operation was conducted to ensure public safety and prevent illicit activities, revealing dozens of boxes containing pyrotechnic items stored in conditions that did not comply with current regulations. The warehouse, lacking the necessary license for the storage of such materials, also contained highly flammable goods.
The seizure took place as part of an intensified inspection effort during the Christmas holidays, aimed at reducing risks to the public and the surrounding environment. The store owner has been reported to the Judicial Authority for the illegal possession of explosive materials. The Guardia di Finanza emphasized the importance of citizen collaboration in reporting suspicious situations and its ongoing commitment to safeguarding collective security.
