On November 2, 2024, at 5:00 PM, the Lechi Museum in Montichiari (BS) will host the opening of the exhibition “Castles, Ghosts, Legends,” created by photographer Salvatore Attanasi, originally from Brescia. This exhibition represents an important anthology of the series of shows initiated by the author in June 2021, which has developed through various Lombard castles until April of this year.

## The Exhibition Path

The initiative took shape in 2019 and had its first manifestation at the Padernello Castle in June 2021. Since then, the project has continued with additional exhibitions in various significant locations: from Darfo Boario to Soncino and Pandino in October of the same year. Throughout 2022, exhibitions were held at the Rocca di Lonato del Garda and in the Medieval Hall of the Orlando Castle in Bornato Franciacorta.

In January 2023, a selection of the collected images titled “The Rooms of Mystery” was exhibited at the Music Hall of Villa Labus in Botticino. Also in December of the same year, Attanasi presented the exhibition “Le chi in Calvisius” at Palazzo Lechi in Calvisano.

## Final Stop of the Exhibition Series

In March of this year, the Sala delle Capriate at the Pagazzano Castle hosted the artist’s most recent exhibition. The exhibition at the Lechi Museum offers a curated selection by Professor Fausto Lorenzi that narrates Attanasi’s artistic journey through approximately forty images. More than half of the works will be printed on fine art cotton paper to ensure a visually captivating presentation.

## Accessibility and Event Details

In the eight rooms on the ground floor of the Lechi Museum, visitors will be able to admire the works accompanied by brief descriptions in Braille, making the event accessible to blind or visually impaired individuals. The exhibition is made possible thanks to the sponsorship of the Municipality of Montichiari and the support of the Ugo Da Como Foundation, the Bornato Castle, and other local organizations.

The exhibition will remain open until January 5, 2025, with specific hours: Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM; Sunday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM; closed on Christmas Day and January 1.
