Until November 9, 2025, the Paper Museum of Toscolano Maderno hosts the exhibition titled “Voices of Paper. Life Stories from the Valley of the Paper Mills”. This initiative, curated by Silvia Merigo, aims to explore the productive and social history of the Valley through the testimonies of artisans and families who have been connected to the paper industry from the 14th to the 20th century. Through historical documents and period images, visitors can rediscover stories of work, effort, and ingenuity that have characterized this area, highlighting the importance of paper as a vehicle for memory. The exhibition is divided into several sections that offer an exciting journey through time, showcasing not only the economic and technological developments that occurred in the 19th century but also the personal experiences of lesser-known protagonists. Admission is included with the museum ticket, and during the exhibition period, it will be open every day until October 19 and only on weekends from October 20 to November 9. Cultural events like this represent an important opportunity to enhance the local heritage and keep the historical memory of the Valley alive. Italian Version
