Sirmione and Mafias: Public Meeting to Inform the Community

A public meeting will be held in Sirmione on November 21 at 8:30 PM at the Town Hall, aimed at shedding light on mafia activities in the Garda area. The event, titled “The Mafias on Garda,” will feature experts in the field such as Gianni Girelli, President of the Antimafia Special Commission of the Lombardy Region, Paola Pollini, Alessandro Lucà, and Francesco Terragno. Organized by the association SìAmo Sirmione and sponsored by the Municipality, the meeting provides an important opportunity for in-depth discussion on a phenomenon that is gaining increasing attention at the institutional level. During the evening, the speakers will discuss mafia infiltration in the Garda area and provide citizens with useful tools to understand and combat organized crime.
