In Sirmione, an important training course on the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) has recently concluded, with the participation of 42 municipal employees. This initiative, promoted by the Local Police, aims to enhance the safety network in the area through highly trained personnel ready to handle emergency situations. Mayor Luisa Lavelli emphasized the importance of life-saving training, stating that the safety of citizens and tourists is a priority for the administration. Currently, the municipality has ten defibrillators in the area, and thanks to the recent training, the number of people capable of using them correctly has significantly increased. Security Councillor Massimo Padovan highlighted how this initiative helps strengthen the local first response system. The training not only provides practical skills but also the confidence necessary to intervene promptly in the event of a cardiac arrest, where every second can make the difference between life and death.
