Sirmione Launches OneLab Digital Training Program Offering Free Courses for Under 25s
Sirmione has launched the OneLab training program in collaboration with Sirmione Servizi to promote digital literacy among residents and students. The initiative offers courses in robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, and practical support through the Technology Desk, with sessions tailored for children, youth, and adults. The first free course for residents under 25 is now open for registration, and the Digital Facilitators Desk operates every Tuesday from 11 am to 5 pm at OneLab.
The program includes hands-on activities with smartphones, social media, cybersecurity, Lego WeDo, and digital drawing on iPads. It also features PCTO pathways for students and a dedicated AI course for teachers. Supported by the local administration and IT department, the project has been upgraded with new robotics kits, updated iPads and computers, and a 3D printer to enhance practical learning and community support.
