Sirmione Shuttle Service Relaunches with Frequent Runs and Contactless Payments
Sirmione’s shuttle bus service operated by Arriva Italia will operate daily from March 28 to September 27, with buses running every 15-20 minutes. The fare is €2.00, payable via contactless card or smartphone, with a tap-in/tap-out system, and the service connects with line LN026 for train station access.
The shuttle complements the LN026 line, which serves travelers arriving by train from Milan, Treviglio, Romano, Chiari, and Rovato, allowing them to reach Desenzano and continue to Sirmione. When the shuttle is not active, LN026 provides direct service to the town center. Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines, authorized vendors, or through the Arriva MyPay app; onboard fare is €2.50. The service is free for residents over 65 with a silver card, and monthly subscriptions are available for residents via the Io Viaggio card. The 2026 stops include piazza Campiello, Porto Galeazzi, and Via Roma.
