Sirmione welcomes the new Leo Club Catullo and young volunteers

The Lions Club Sirmione has recently welcomed eleven young members into the new Leo Club Sirmione Catullo, during an event held at the “Dogana” restaurant in Lugana. The ceremony, which marked the official inauguration of the club, was attended by prominent figures such as Maria Carmela Iacono, president of the Sirmione Lions Club, and Daniela Rossi, district governor. This project originated about three years ago from a conversation among Lions Club members, culminating in the election of Sofia Ermogene as the first president of the Leo Club. During the event, Sofia Ermogene shared her ambitions for the club, expressing the intent to actively work in the community on relevant issues such as raising awareness about diabetes prevention and engaging students in schools. The collaboration between the youth and the adults of the Lions Club will be crucial for advancing project initiatives and ensuring a positive impact in the local community. Italian Version
