The Swimtheisland Sirmione, the most captivating open water swimming competition on Lake Garda, will take place on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, offering a unique opportunity for enthusiasts in the field. Organized by TriO Events with the support of the Lombardy Region, the Province of Brescia, and the Municipality of Sirmione, the event will see the participation of swimmers from all over Italy and beyond. Athletes still have one week left to register for this historic event, which promises thrilling experiences in a stunning setting.
The races will kick off on Saturday at 11:30 AM with the KID’sTHEISLAND for the youngest participants, followed by the FAMILY and TEAM competitions in the afternoon. The evening will culminate with the SUNSET SWIM – a 1500-meter challenge at sunset – starting at 8:30 PM from Jamaica Beach. Sunday will be dedicated to the CLASSIC SWIM of 3200 meters, one of the most anticipated events of the entire weekend. To ensure the smooth running of the event, the areas involved will be limited to the Historic Center of Sirmione, with no changes to traffic or parking.
