Today, January 31st, the headquarters of the Firefighters in Brescia celebrated the retirement of firefighter Angelo Trementini, who has served for 32 years. He joined the national corps in 1984 as an auxiliary, advancing his career to become a permanent firefighter in 1993, after which he was assigned to the Salò station. Over the years, he actively participated in numerous emergency operations, tackling national disasters such as the earthquakes in Aquila and Emilia Romagna, as well as the floods in Liguria.
Thanks to his extensive experience, Trementini held increasingly significant roles, ultimately becoming a “department head.” He was also awarded a commendation for rescuing a girl trapped under an overturned tractor. His colleagues described him as a “respected colleague and well-liked by everyone,” emphasizing that his departure leaves a “professional void that will be hard to fill.”
