From May 10th to 19th, 2024, the picturesque town of Tignale on Lake Garda will host the annual event “L’oro di Tignale” (The Gold of Tignale), a celebration of local excellence: oil, lemons, and local products. This event aims to promote the gastronomic and natural culture of Tignale through a series of engaging activities, including guided walks, tastings, and performances.

Main Events:
– Guided Walks: During the festival, there will be several guided walks that explore the natural beauty and historic paths of Tignale. Some of the routes include:
– “Echi d’Acqua” (Echoes of Water): A path that offers reflections, waterfalls, and gorges (May 10th, 9:00 am).
– “Sentiero dei Limoni” (Lemon Path): A walk among lemon terraces with a visit to the Pra dela Fam lemon house (May 12th, 9:00 am).
– “Sulle Orme di Zanzanù” (In the Footsteps of Zanzanù): A hike through forests, valleys, and ancient roads, following the traces of shepherds and bandits (May 17th, 9:00 am).
– “La Passeggiata delle Peonie” (The Peony Walk): An exploration of the spring blossoms of wild peonies (May 19th, 8:30 am).
Each walk requires mandatory reservation with a cost of €6.00, free for Tignale Card holders.

– Tastings and Gastronomy: During the event, local restaurants and bars will offer special menus featuring dishes prepared with Tignale’s distinctive products such as oil and lemons. This will allow visitors to taste traditional recipes with a modern twist.

– Music and Entertainment:
– Every Friday and Sunday evening, there will be musical performances in the square to liven up the evenings (May 10th, 12th, and 16th, 8:30 pm).
– On May 19th, the Piazzale delle Ginestre will host the theatrical show “Il Lupo e il Bimbo” (The Wolf and the Child), a family-friendly event with wireless headphones for an immersive experience.

Special Event: #BioBlitzLombardia
On May 18th, the Alto Garda Bresciano Park Museum, in collaboration with #BioBlitzLombardia, will organize a day dedicated to citizen science. Participants can become scientists for a day by taking part in biodiversity workshops and park excursions to monitor local flora and fauna.

Practical Information:
To participate in the events, reservations must be made through the Tignale Tourist Office. For more information, contact the office at +39 0365 73354 or visit the website www.tignaletour.it.
