The Honey Days Beekeeping Event Gains European Recognition
Significant and substantial news for The Honey Days, the biannual international beekeeping event scheduled in the lakeside town from October 5 to 7.
In addition to the inaugural event at the European level for beekeepers, the new millennium edition promises impressive numbers to allow the event, which has strengthened over twenty years of commitment from the Municipal Administrations that have taken turns, to aim for a significant leap in quality.
The European beekeepers’ meeting, launched thanks to the strong support provided to the event in Benedetto by the Regional Council with the intervention of the Agriculture Councillor Giancarlo Conta, is an initial confirmation of that European role to which the biannual was aspiring.
This all has a clear objective: to transform «The Honey Days» into a prestigious showcase to enhance and promote the quality of honey produced in European countries.
Main themes and upcoming meetings
Therefore, the appropriate theme «Beekeeping in Europe» chosen for this beginning-of-the-century edition will be developed through two major meetings: «Europe of Beekeeping & European Associations» with the participation of beekeeping associations from various EU countries.
