Toscolano Maderno and the photography competition: rediscovering the beauty of the territory
The photography contest “Photo Challenge 2025” has celebrated the beauty of the territory of Toscolano Maderno, with the winners being awarded in recent days. The first edition of the contest featured 93 photographs, all displayed until November 21 at the municipal library. The proposed themes, “Between Inland and Lake” and “Valley of the Paper Mills,” encouraged participants to capture unique landscapes and details, with prizes awarded to the top three entries. In the “Between Inland and Lake” section, the first prize was awarded to Marco Baldi for his work titled “The Game of the Lake,” followed by Matteo Mombelli and Angiolino Civini. In the section dedicated to the Valley of the Paper Mills, Elena Cibra took first place with “Maina di Sopra.” Mayor Chiara Chimini and the Cultural Councillor Monica Bombardieri highlighted how this contest has been an important opportunity to rediscover often overlooked corners of the local community.
