A 70-year-old man was found safe and sound on the night of Friday, May 2, in Toscolano Maderno, after going missing during a walk in the woods. The man’s wife reported his absence, prompting immediate search operations. Technicians from the CNSAS Lombardy, along with 12 rescuers from the Brescia Delegation V, began ground searches, supported by a canine unit and the air rescue team from AREU.
The elderly man was located around midnight with some minor injuries from a fall. After being rescued, he was transported to the hospital for further examination. The rescue operations also involved the Fire Brigade, which actively collaborated to ensure the success of the search efforts and the prompt response required in such critical situations.
