Tourism incentives in Lombardy: 15 million for the redevelopment of facilities
Regione Lombardia has announced a new call for proposals worth 15 million euros aimed at the renovation of accommodation facilities in the region, as part of an initiative designed to support the tourism sector through financial incentives. This program, which is part of the Regional ERDF Program 2021-2027, offers non-repayable grants covering 50% of eligible expenses, with a maximum limit of 300,000 euros per project. The regional Tourism Councillor, Barbara Mazzali, emphasized the importance of this intervention in promoting sustainable growth and enhancing the quality of Lombardy’s tourism offerings.
The call for proposals will be open from 12:00 PM on July 21, 2025, until 12:00 PM on October 9, 2025, and applications must be submitted online. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises that manage or intend to establish hotel and outdoor accommodation facilities are eligible to participate. Investments must have a minimum amount of 80,000 euros, and projects must be completed within 18 months of receiving the grant. Various expenses related to the renovation will be eligible for funding, including furnishings, equipment, and installation works necessary for the purchases made.
