Mixed results for tourism on Lake Garda between Easter and Easter Monday. The Easter holidays of 2025 presented a contrasting picture for the Brescia tourism sector, with Lake Garda maintaining its appeal, albeit without achieving the desired results. Hotel occupancy rates hovered around 80-85%, influenced by an unstable economic context and variable weather conditions, which led to numerous last-minute cancellations, particularly among Italian tourists. However, the presence of foreign visitors helped sustain the tourist flow, accounting for over 60% of the total, with a significant increase from the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
Despite forecasts of bad weather, Easter Monday brought sunny moments that enlivened the towns around Lake Garda and benefited local bars and restaurants. Nevertheless, when comparing these figures to previous years, a lower influx is evident, along with a general uncertainty among industry operators. There is now growing anticipation for the long weekends of April 25th and May 1st, with hopes that weather and economic conditions may improve the trajectory of the tourist season.
