A new tourism promotion project dedicated to the Lake Garda has officially been launched on Monte Baldo, thanks to the collaboration between the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Veneto Region, and the Lombardy Region. Presented in Malcesine, the initiative is funded with 600,000 euros from the Border Municipalities Fund and will develop over the next three years. The primary objective is to create a shared identity for the lake, aiming to attract visitors from high-potential markets such as Northern Europe and North America, while enhancing the tourism offer throughout the year.
The project marks a significant shift in territorial communication, moving away from fragmented approaches to a unified narrative that highlights experiences related to culture, nature, sports, and gastronomy. The regional councilors present emphasized the importance of a common strategy in the global market and the need for innovation to enhance the quality of the tourist experience. This initiative also aims to promote the de-seasonalization of tourist flows, making Lake Garda an attractive destination at any time of the year.
