Recent developments in Desenzano del Garda are set to enhance the tourist experience around the lake, thanks to the introduction of a new tourist ticketing service for the boats connecting Desenzano and Sirmione. This initiative, resulting from a collaboration between Visit Desenzano and the navigation company Navigarda, was announced by Emanuele Bonotto, president of the Consortium of Hoteliers and Tourism Operators. Tourists will be able to purchase tickets directly at participating accommodation facilities within the Consortium, thereby simplifying the organization of their travel without having to go through traditional sales points.
The new ticketing system represents an innovative solution to optimize travel times and movements, encouraging guests to explore the lake in a more sustainable manner. “Visit Desenzano,” Bonotto stated, “confirms its commitment to enhancing the area and ensuring quality services for both residents and visitors.” With this new initiative, an increase in tourist influx to the area is anticipated, fostering greater integration between hospitality and mobility around the lake.
