Traffic accident in Gargnano: motorcycle hits elderly man on the Western Gardesana road

In the late afternoon of Saturday, October 4, a serious road accident occurred along the Gardesana Occidentale in the municipality of Gargnano. Around 5 PM, a 78-year-old man, a local resident, was struck by a motorcycle while attempting to cross the road near the intersection with Provincial Road 9, heading towards Valvestino. The impact was particularly violent and resulted in severe injuries for the elderly man, necessitating urgent medical assistance; after initial aid was provided, he was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Local Carabinieri from the Salò company quickly arrived at the scene to conduct the necessary investigations, while the local police of Gargnano managed traffic, which soon resulted in long queues.
