A road accident occurred at dawn today on the stretch connecting Toscolano to Gargnano, involving three young individuals. A 22-year-old Romanian tourist, driving a Mercedes C-Class, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall along the roadway shortly before 4 AM. Accompanying him were a compatriot residing in Gargnano and a 23-year-old Italian woman. The young passenger, sitting next to the driver, sustained serious injuries and was urgently transported in red code to the Civile Hospital in Brescia.
The condition of the twenty-year-old is serious but not life-threatening, while the girl suffered minor injuries and was taken in yellow code to the same hospital with an estimated recovery time of about ten days. The Carabinieri of Salò are investigating the incident to clarify the causes of the accident and are awaiting the results of health checks on the vehicle’s driver.
