A road accident occurred in the late afternoon of Monday, March 24, in San Felice del Benaco, involving an elderly pedestrian who was crossing the street at a crosswalk along Viale Italia. The 96-year-old man was struck by an approximately 80-year-old woman driving a Lancia Y, sustaining serious injuries that required the intervention of air ambulance services.
The alert was raised just minutes before 6 PM, when the pedestrian was thrown to the ground following the impact. Law enforcement and medical personnel quickly arrived on the scene to provide assistance and manage the situation, temporarily halting traffic in the area. Given the critical condition of the elderly man, it was necessary to transport him in red code to the Civile Hospital in Brescia for appropriate care.
