Montichiari: Announcement of Traffic Modifications in the Fascia d’Oro Area Starting Wednesday, March 19, significant changes to traffic in the Fascia d’Oro area will take place, as announced by Mayor Marco Togni. The company Retragas is currently engaged in the installation of a medium-pressure gas pipeline that crosses multiple municipalities, with the work being contracted to the Mazza firm. The stretch of the SP 236 road, starting from the Fascia d’Oro restaurant, will be closed to all vehicle traffic; the bus stop will be relocated to the restaurant’s parking lot on Via Pirandello, and a one-way system will be established on this road.
To ensure the safety of users and manage the redirected traffic flow, a concrete barrier will be placed to narrow the roadway and limit speed. Additionally, resurfacing of the section of Via Pirandello next to the Serini Barracks is scheduled to be completed by today. Finally, the exit from SP 37 (Via dell’aeroporto) onto SP 236 will be closed to prevent access to the road affected by the construction work. Details of the modifications have been distributed via a flyer in the surrounding areas and at local businesses in the industrial zone.
