Traffic Day on the A4: Desenzano Bypass Also Blocked Today, Friday, June 6, traffic on the A4 has reached critical levels, causing significant disruptions for drivers in the Lower Garda area. Traffic issues began in the early morning hours due to a road accident involving several vehicles between Sommacampagna and Peschiera, fortunately without any serious injuries. However, the situation worsened in the early afternoon when another accident between the Brescia Est and Desenzano toll booths heading towards Venice resulted in queues of up to 8 kilometers.
As delays increased on the highway, many drivers sought alternatives on provincial road 11, leading to further congestion, particularly in the municipality of Desenzano del Garda. Local authorities are monitoring the situation to ensure safety and the smooth flow of traffic in the area.
