Desenzano, traffic regulations in the city center are changing: a revolution in parking, access, and ZTL Tomorrow evening, October 13, at 8:45 PM, the citizens of Desenzano are invited to Palazzo Todeschini for a public meeting called by the municipal administration regarding the “Temporary Modification of Traffic Regulations and Limited Traffic Zones in the Historic Center.” The meeting has generated significant interest among the residents of Desenzano, as it promises a reorganization of the traffic in the historic center, with the introduction of new rules aimed at limiting vehicular traffic in the squares and combating the issue of unauthorized parking. The project includes the installation of seven electronic gates that will monitor access to the ZTL Desenzano, a measure set to come into effect by November. The Councillor for Security, Pietro Avanzi, will present the changes that will transform the face of the city center. Among the most significant modifications will be the extension of restrictions in the ZTL: currently in effect only during morning and afternoon hours, it will be completely prohibited from 9:30 AM until evening. Additionally, new spaces for suppliers will be created, and there will be a limited time for loading and unloading goods for hotel guests. Avanzi emphasized that this initiative is the result of six months of dialogue with merchants and hoteliers, aimed at ensuring greater safety and urban decorum. The final proposal will be unveiled next Monday, with the possibility of further adjustments based on feedback received from the community. Italian Version
