A tree has fallen on the Gardesana: traffic delays between Toscolano Maderno and Gargnano. Since 1 PM on Thursday, May 22, traffic congestion and delays have been reported on the Gardesana road segment connecting Toscolano Maderno to Gargnano. The incident occurred due to a tree falling, triggered by the severe storm that hit the western shore of the lake, impacting the retaining wall of the roadway. The critical point is located near the “ghost house.”
Technicians from the Municipality of Toscolano Maderno have arrived at the scene, working on the removal of branches, along with the Fire Brigade, who are securing another precarious tree. Traffic is currently being regulated in a one-way alternating system by Local Police officers, with an estimated travel time of about 50 minutes to cover the 7 kilometers separating Gargnano from Toscolano Maderno.
