A 74-year-old Dutch tourist suffered a fatal health crisis in Toscolano Maderno early this morning while walking along the lakeside. The woman, accompanied by her husband, was strolling along the scenic route when she suddenly lost consciousness. An alarm was raised immediately, and rescuers arrived quickly, but despite prolonged resuscitation efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene due to a cardiac arrest.
The couple was staying at a nearby campsite at the time of the tragic incident. Carabinieri from the Salò Company arrived to conduct the necessary investigations and provide support to the husband, who was visibly shaken by the loss.
