Training for caregivers in Manerba del Garda: opportunities and challenges

The “We Care” project has launched training programs for caregivers in the municipalities of Manerba del Garda and Pozzolengo, addressing the needs of a growing number of individuals caring for sick or disabled family members. These courses, promoted by the Special Consortium Company Garda Sociale and the Credo Association, will take place on various dates from November 27 to December 16, 2025. Each program includes three theoretical sessions covering crucial topics such as the role of the caregiver and available support networks, accompanied by a practical workshop on handling techniques. The President of the Company, Luisa Lavelli, along with the President of the Assembly of Mayors, Stefano Visconti, emphasized the importance of supporting family caregiving to prevent it from becoming invisible within social policy frameworks.
