Transport enhancement in Sirmione: shuttle bus and on-demand services

Sirmione enhances transport around Lake Garda with shuttle and on-demand services. Starting from June 9, Arriva Italia has announced an expansion of bus services in the area, in collaboration with the TPL Agency of Brescia, to provide residents and tourists with an eco-friendly option to explore the lake without the hassles of traffic and parking. Specifically, Sirmione has implemented a shuttle bus that connects the historic center with the main parking areas and transfer points every 15-20 minutes until midnight, at a cost of 2 euros per ride.

Additionally, users can take advantage of the Chiama Bus, an on-demand service available through the Chiamabus-Sirmione app, which allows travel between Sirmione, Rovizza, Lugana, and Colombare at the same price. The summer enhancement also includes increased frequency of the LN026 line connecting Brescia to Sirmione and Verona until 11:00 PM, passing through the Desenzano train station. Furthermore, coastal lines to other popular lake destinations have been strengthened; the R-link 204 will offer services every half hour between Salò and Desenzano until 11:00 PM, while the R-Link 202 will connect Brescia to Salò with regular frequencies.
