Tremosine and Chiara Girardi: the art of artisanal bakery

Tremosine reaffirms itself as a vibrant center of innovation in the bakery sector, thanks to Chiara Girardi, a young entrepreneur at just 24 years old who has already opened three artisan bakeries. Her first shop was inaugurated in Tignale, followed by a second location in Arco last July, and she recently launched a third store in the same city. Chiara comes from a family with a deep-rooted tradition in the field; she inherited the craft from her great-uncle Beppino, who founded the Girardi bakery in Vesio di Tremosine over a century ago. After completing her studies at the hospitality institute in Gardone Riviera and taking a course at Cast Alimenti in Brescia, Chiara decided to pursue her passion for baking. Her bakeries offer specialties made with sourdough and whole grain flours, keeping alive the tradition of the Girardi Bakery, which has been operating since 1924. Chiara’s dedication and youthful creativity are supported by her family, who continue to manage the historic business known for the quality of its daily fresh products. Italian Version
