The Gardesana has been reopened to two-way traffic in the area of Tremosine, following a targeted intervention on the rockfall protection network. The closure was necessary after a boulder fell and became lodged in the net, making the road unsafe. The work, carried out by Anas personnel this morning, allowed for the removal of the unstable rock, which had collapsed around 4:00 PM the previous day.
Thanks to the effective intervention by the operators, traffic along the Gardesana has resumed flowing smoothly without further inconvenience for motorists. Local authorities are continuously monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of the roadways in the area.
