Trentino Wildlife Encounters: Insights into Public Perceptions and Research
A new survey has been launched in Trento to gather data on local interactions between residents and wildlife, including species such as deer, wolves, boars, bears, chamois, cormorants, and eagles. The survey aims to assess public perceptions of the landscape and wildlife, contributing to research on biodiversity and facilitating comparisons with other European countries.
Open to all residents, the anonymous questionnaire takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. Collected data will be securely stored and used solely for scientific purposes related to wildlife and habitat studies in the Trento area.
