Two Bulgarian Women Caught Stealing with Sleight of Hand at Peschiera del Garda Mall

Two Bulgarian women, aged 40 and 21, were arrested in Peschiera del Garda after stealing a wallet from a shopper in a mall on March 27. The suspects, known to authorities, were caught within minutes after security alerted police, who recovered the stolen item and returned it to the owner.

The women were taken to the Peschiera del Garda police station, detained on orders from Verona’s prosecutor, and held in custody pending a court hearing. The Verona judge validated their arrest on March 28, with a trial scheduled for May 2026, and imposed house arrest in Pioltello Limito.
