Valeggio Launches Campaign to Promote Public Bins and Recycling Efforts

Valeggio sul Mincio has launched a new awareness campaign to promote proper use of public trash bins, which are intended for small waste from pedestrians and not for household or bulky waste. The initiative involves placing informational stickers on selected containers in the town center and will extend to surrounding areas, clearly indicating acceptable waste and discouraging the discarding of bags or boxes in street bins.

During the February 24, 2026, City Council meeting, officials thanked volunteers from Valeggio Pulita for their cleanup efforts. The municipality emphasized the importance of using door-to-door recycling and local eco-centers, while plans include increased monitoring with surveillance cameras and further informational actions to improve urban cleanliness and waste management.
