Valeggio sul Mincio hosts an exhibition on the founders of the European Union

The Municipality of Valeggio sul Mincio will host the exhibition “The Founding Mothers and Fathers of the European Union” from October 18 to 31, 2025, at the atrium of Palazzo Guarienti, the location of the municipal library. The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, at 11:30 AM, with free admission throughout the duration of the exhibition. Organized in collaboration with Europe Direct Venezia Veneto and the European Federalist Movement, the exhibition celebrates the figures who contributed to the creation of the European project, highlighting the importance of cooperation and peace in our continent. The municipal councilor responsible for European funds, Gabriela Alexandra Visan, emphasized that understanding the stories of the founders is essential for grasping the evolution of the European Union, a project aimed at building a shared future based on fundamental values such as democracy and social justice. The exhibition thus offers a significant opportunity for reflection on the origins of a united Europe, inviting visitors to explore the biographies of the personalities who have shaped European history and to consider their relevance in the current context.
