Valtenesi Carnival Concludes with Parade, Awards, and Final Celebrations

After the great success of last Sunday’s parade, the Valtenesi Carnival reaches its conclusion: tomorrow, following the second parade, the winning float among those presented by the districts of Manerba (the host town), Moniga, and Puegnago will be elected.

Schedule for the Final Days

The schedule for the last two days of the event is once again busy. This afternoon at 3:00 PM, as per tradition, the palasport will host the Children’s Carnival with the contest «Silver Mask», animated by the troupe of the Grand Master Puppet-Master.

The Grand Parade and the Carnival of the Re of Maöl

The highlight of the Re of Maöl Carnival is expected tomorrow. At 2:30 PM, the grand parade of allegorical floats will take place, providing an opportunity to revisit the works of what has now become the only carnival on Garda Lake in Brescia, featuring eight floats balancing wild imagination and remarkable technical effort.

The parade will be accompanied by masked groups, musical bands, the Sbandieratori del Palio di Montagnana, and the Bicimatte of San Tomaso di Lonato.

Award Ceremony and Final Celebration

Following the announcement of the winning float, from 7:30 PM the palasport will host the «Great Carnival Feast», with music by singer Brunetto Lusenti.

The participation of the mayors of Valtenesi is expected, who will award prizes and recognitions to prominent personalities in the area who have stood out for their commitment to the Valtenesi communities.
