On Saturday, May 24th, starting at 09:45, a seminar dedicated to **sustainable tourism** will take place at the Salò library, as part of the Sustainability Festival. The event, organized in collaboration with the City of Salò and the Lombardy Region, will focus on the **Alto Garda Park** and value economies, addressing the challenges related to **overtourism** and the need to preserve the environment to ensure a suitable quality of life for residents. Among the speakers will be Giovanni Bertuetti from ERSAF Lombardy, who will discuss sustainability in relation to the territory.
Throughout the weekend, various **sustainable excursions** will also be offered, allowing participants to explore the natural beauty of the area. Activities will take place among the vineyards of Lugana and in the surrounding historic villages, providing an opportunity to deepen the understanding of environmental protection within the tourism context. These events aim to promote a development model that respects local communities and enhances the natural heritage of the region.
