Veneto Regional Leadership Meets to Shape Future Organizational Structures
A “convention” of the entire regional leadership of Veneto to define the future organizational structures.
Approximately 250 regional officials will gather on Friday and Saturday in Garda (Verona), at Ca’ Madrina, to share their experiences and strategies for enhancing human resources in the challenge that sees Regions as protagonists in the process of acquiring numerous competences that previously belonged to the State.
Objectives and framework of the meeting
The meeting will be titled “Professional Role of Managers” and is part of the program initiated by the Giunta veneta (Venetian Regional Council). “On several occasions, our management and all regional staff,” states the assessor for personnel policies Raffaele Grazia, who will open and close the sessions, “have received public recognition for their professionalism and overall high standards, confirmed through comparisons with other Regions. However, it is still possible to do even better, and Veneto aims to improve itself.”
The goal of the meeting with management is to actively promote the completion of the organizational reform, to prepare and support the delegation processes underway for local autonomies, and to facilitate the constituent phase linked to the approval of the new regional Statute.
Proposals and discussion moments
Concrete proposals are expected to be developed, aimed at overcoming the bureaucratic rigidities still present, promoting substantial flexibility in implementing planning, and fostering an innovative approach to personnel management.
On Saturday morning, the president of the Region Giancarlo Galan will also participate in the proceedings.
