Verona Award Honors Pietro Rocca and Rita as Lombardia’s Representatives at Ercole Olivario

During Verona’s SOL2EXPO event, Rocca Pietro e Rita s.s. from Salò (BS) was awarded first place in the DOP/IGP category for their Garda Dop Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the “Ercole Olivario – Selezione Alta Italia” competition. They will represent Lombardy in the final of the 34th edition of the national contest.

The ceremony was attended by Federico Sisti and Maria Grazia Barone. Additional regional winners included Agraria Riva del Garda (Trentino Alto Adige) and Redoro srl Frantoi Veneti (Veneto). National blind tastings will take place in Perugia from March 22-27, 2026, with the final and award ceremony scheduled for April 21-22, 2026.
