In Desenzano del Garda, the installation of a surveillance system is planned for the new lakeside promenade, an initiative aimed at enhancing urban safety in one of the city’s most frequented areas. This project, a collaboration between the Municipality and the Basin Authority, will focus on the recently inaugurated stretch between via Rive and via Gramsci and will involve the introduction of cameras at strategic points along the walkway. The intervention will be financed without additional costs to the municipal budget, utilizing already available funds from the recently completed construction project, amounting to a total investment of approximately 39,000 euros.
The implementation of the system will be managed by the Basin Authority, while the Municipality will handle the design, oversight of the works, and final certification of the infrastructure. This initiative represents a significant step towards greater protection for both residents and tourists, contributing to making the promenade safer and more welcoming.
