Western Gardesana Closed for Landslide Repairs; Navigarda Offers Alternatives

From November 15 to December 15, the Western Gardesana will be closed due to new safety work related to the landslide that occurred in recent days. However, Navigarda – the same shipping company that assures this – will help reduce inconvenience with alternative connections between Limone and Riva.

During that period, the company will operate specific crossings using catamarans and ferry motorboats capable of transporting both passengers and vehicles.

Both the Limone and Riva docks will be served regularly regardless of the lake’s water level (currently low). Timetables for these connections will be available in the coming days.
