What to Do on Lake Garda This Weekend (Aug. 28–30, 2026)

A photography exhibition dedicated to contemporary work will take place in Lonato del Garda over the weekend of 28–30 August 2026. The show, titled **“NEPAL TODAY. In the Forest, in the Villages,”** is hosted at the **Sala del Capitano of the Rocca** and remains open until **30 August 2026**.

The exhibition examines the role of images and social responsibility in the **Global South**, focusing on the work of Nepalese artists investigating change and life in a young democracy. It also highlights how photographic practice has spread across the Indian subcontinent, with centers of excellence hosting students from different countries.
