Starting from April 1st, the limited traffic zone (ZTL) in Bardolino will be reactivated, prohibiting access to all vehicles, including mopeds and motorcycles, until November 2nd. Ordinance No. 68, dated March 18, 2025, establishes several entry points with specific hours: the “Borgo Cavour” entry, “Toscanini” street, and “Piazza A. Moro” will be accessible from 6 PM to 6 AM on weekdays and from 12 PM to 6 AM on holidays; the “Cipriani” lakeside entry will be open from 12 PM to 6 AM every day; while the “Preite” lakeside entry will be accessible from 9 PM to 6 AM.
Additionally, a ban on the passage of bicycles and micro-mobility vehicles is in place along Mirabello lakeside and other surrounding areas, requiring cyclists to walk their bikes. It is also important to note that from March 15th, parking in the area has returned to being paid, necessitating advance planning for those wishing to visit Bardolino during this restricted traffic period.
