This morning an accident occurred along the A4 highway between the Sirmione and Peschiera exits, heading towards Venice. The alarm was raised shortly before 10 am due to a collision involving a 53-year-old woman, who was transported to the hospital by ambulance with a yellow code.
The accident caused long delays and queues of up to 5 kilometers along the highway. The traffic extended all the way to the Brescia Est exit, further complicating the traffic situation in the area.
The traffic situation was further aggravated by the second day of Vinitaly, the wine fair taking place in Verona. From the early morning hours, long queues formed at the San Massimo exit of the ring road, heading towards the fairgrounds where the event is taking place.
This combination of factors caused significant inconvenience to motorists on the A4 this morning. The presence of endless lines of cars and congested traffic made it difficult to reach their intended destinations.
The relevant authorities promptly intervened to manage the situation and restore normal traffic flow. However, motorists were advised to consider alternative measures or plan their journeys taking into account possible delays.
