Montichiari Boat Show Showcases Italian and International Yachts

Montichiari Boat Show

Luna Rossa had just concluded its first race against the New Zealand team Black Magic when the second edition of the Nautic Show opened its doors at the Centro Fiera di Montichiari. The exhibition coincides happily with the start of «Prada», the highly anticipated showcase of the boating industry that, now in its second edition, has already outpaced all other Italian boat shows except for Genoa.

Exhibition and variety of products

Yachting enthusiasts, as well as those who love motorboats and RIBs, will find in the Montichiari pavilions the best of both national and international production from Italian shipyards, as well as American, Dutch, and British brands. The exhibition includes everything needed for navigation, whether at sea or in freshwater, such as accessories, clothing, sailing schools, and more. Hundreds of boats are on display, including several large models, around 15/16 meters long—these are the types of vessels rarely exhibited at ‘land-based’ events due to transport difficulties, high costs, and the risks associated with such shipments.

Organization and attendance

Organized by Staff Service, the Nautic Show will occupy 35,000 square meters of exhibition space at Montichiari from tomorrow (opening at 11 am) until February 27, featuring the presence of 200 exhibitors from across Italy. They will meet buyers from northern Italy—home to over 70% of the market—centered around the lakes.

Concurrent events

Simultaneously with the Nautic Show, from tomorrow until Tuesday, February 22, the «Pescare 2000» event will be held at the Centro Fiera di Montichiari. This is the primary fair for sport fishing equipment, dedicated to enthusiasts of this sport.
