Desenzano and Sirmione Host Riva, Ferrari, and Nautical Exhibition

The spectacular and inimitable show offered yesterday on the shores of Lake Garda by «Symbol & Symbol» was truly unforgettable. Desenzano and Sirmione saw their main squares, Malvezzi and Castello, transformed into real “red squares,” thanks to the remarkable presence of Maranello cars led by the legendary and glorious F399 of Michael Schumacher.

In the two harbors, the iconic wooden boats, which left the Riva shipyards years ago, were moored. A tribute to good taste and memory.

Participants and key moments

Curzio Moretti and his team can genuinely say they are fully satisfied with the successful event that, in just a few days, gained echoes throughout Italy, especially due to its three “symbolic” protagonists: Riva, Ferrari, and Tornado, which over time attracted other important local and national “symbols,” such as Lugana Doc, Grana Padano, and the Sesto Senso club.

On Friday evening, the presentation was held with Alba Parietti as godmother. Also present were two great nautical champions, Gianfranco Rossi and Angelo Vassena. To welcome the first International meeting Riva & Ferrari, the mayors of Desenzano, Felice Anelli, and Sirmione, Maurizio Ferrari, were also present.

Exhibition spaces and collateral initiatives

Yesterday morning in Desenzano, the commander of the 6th Stormo di Ghedi, Col. Roberto Nordio, arrived to visit the exhibition areas managed by his pilots and the entire event.

In the waters in front of the Vecchio Port, many mahogany wooden models from the Riva shipyards were displayed, including a Riva-Ferrari fiberglass model. The space set up on an old wooden boat by the Lugana Doc Consortium was also very popular, with President Francesco Ghirardi in attendance.

Next to it was the space of the Grana Padano cheese, which, through the charming Daniela, distributed tasty cheese shavings to visitors. There was a stop at West Garda Marina for the buffet, then again in Sirmione and in the evening at the Parco Giardino Sigurtà.

Conclusion and final program

Today, the event resumes in Desenzano for the second and final phase, which will conclude with the awarding of participation plaques.

The program includes a 10:30 AM concert by «The Beatops» and at 11:00 AM a walk with evolutions of the «Learjet».
