Desenzano’s Night of Enchantment: Boat Parade and Fireworks Festival

One of the most beautiful events held every year in August in Desenzano is undoubtedly the “Night of Enchantment“, an initiative organized by the Amici del Porto Vecchio and sponsored by the Municipality.

On Saturday night, the 12th, from 9:30 p.m., thousands of lights will illuminate the lake. But before the grand fireworks finale, entrusted to the skilled hands of international masters, the Amici del Porto Vecchio will organize a display of allegorical boats along Lago Cesare Battisti.

The historic regatta’s president of the indomitable Amici, Marco Cavallaro, invites everyone to participate with decorated boats adorned with lights, with performers engaged in storytelling scenes. All participants will receive a commemorative plaque during the spaghetti dinner.

Awards and registration

The top three competitors will also be awarded cups donated by the municipal administration. For all those wishing to take part in the event, here are some organizational notes: registration is free and must be completed by 7 p.m. on Thursday the 10th, at the Amici del Porto Vecchio headquarters, the Bar Combattenti in Piazza Capelletti (tel. 030.9141872).

Registration is necessary to obtain the boat transit permit for the entire duration of the parade. The area will be secured by law enforcement, given the presence of pyrotechnic materials that will be used during the subsequent show.
