Pozzolengo Districts Compete in 2000 Pasta Dinner Race Victory

On Thursday, August 10th, the 5th edition of the “Pasta Dinner Race between the Districts” took place, featuring a showdown between the nine districts of Pozzolengo. The event, which started at 5:30 PM with a costume parade of representatives from each district accompanied by music and dance, culminated in the traditional competition that drew a good crowd.

The Award Ceremony and Details of the Victory

In the presence of numerous officials from neighboring municipalities, the Jury, composed of one representative from each district and three qualified external judges, designated the district “Ponte Cantone” as the winner for the year 2000. Mayor Paolo Bellini presented the award to the district’s representative, who, having won for the second time (the first was in 1996), earned the right to keep the trophy.
