Arco Beautifies Key Entrance with New Traffic Island Flowerbeds

With a expenditure of 22.5 million lire, almost 19 million of which covered supplies and works based on contracts, the municipal administration has finally arranged a proper and decorative treatment for the six traffic-island flowerbeds that separate the various traffic flows within the channelized intersection built at the junction of the Linfano state road with the Riva-Torbole coastal road.

The beautification project of one of the most significant entrances to the Arco municipal territory was carried out in collaboration with the provincial traffic service, which took charge of installing the automatic irrigation system, connected to the municipal water network and therefore supplied with pressurized water, managed by a timer powered by a long-lasting battery that minimizes required green maintenance interventions.

The completed work was presented yesterday morning by the Environment Councillor Fabrizio Miori, accompanied by municipal technician Augusto Ricci, who oversaw the project design and implementation.

Planting and Maintenance of the Flowerbeds

For planting, species with low growth habit and rapid development were chosen, covering the entire available surface without causing visibility problems for motorists approaching the intersection.

The procedure was initiated on February 15 with a request for intervention to the province, which responded by declaring itself available only for the implementation of the irrigation system.
