20-Year-Old Croatian Roma Woman Arrested After Burglary, Gives Birth in Prison
Caught by the carabinieri while fleeing from a just burglarized house alongside an accomplice, she became a mother a few hours after her arrest.
The new mother, a 20-year-old Croatian Roma woman, was stopped on the afternoon of Ferragosto (August 15th) as she was leaving a house with freshly stolen clothes and jewelry.
Her stay at the Verciano prison in Brescia was brief: during the night, she was hospitalized where she gave birth to a baby.
